We are seeking a detailed oriented Research Associate with background in Cell Biology or Immunology to join our Pharmacology team during this exciting time in Amunix’s expansion. The candidate will play an integral role in the pre-clinical, in vitro characterization and development of novel immuno-oncology therapeutics. The candidate will perform standard cell-based cytotoxicity assays, immuno-assays and flow cytometry. They are expected to think critically to solve problems, constantly improve work practices, and to collaborate productively as part of a team.


-Cell culture and primary cells maintenance and isolation
-Plan and execute cell-based cytotoxicity assays
-Plan and execute cell-based proliferation assays
-Perform ELISAs or other methods to measure cytokines
-Perform and analyze multicolor flow cytometry assays
-Communicate results effectively at group and company meetings
-Document all experimental procedures and data in ELN
-Share responsibility for lab maintenance duties

Qualifications/Preferred Skillsets:

-BS or higher degree in Cell Biology/ Immunology or related scientific discipline
-3-5 years of relevant industry or academia experience
-Must have experience with T cell-based functional assays, ideally measuring cytotoxicity
-Must have experience in multi-color flow cytometry
-Proficient with basic computer programs routinely used in a lab such as MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, GraphPad Prism, and FlowJo
-Highly organized with reliable time-keeping skills and able to maintain a detailed and well-organized
-Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills
-Able to thrive in a fast-paced, start-up environment
-Experience evaluating T cell engagers is desirable
-Able to commute to South San Francisco
