Description:

The laboratory of Dr. Greg Ira in the Department of Molecular and Human Genetics at the Baylor College of Medicine seeks goal-oriented, collaborative, highly motivated postdocs to study the
mechanisms of genome instability, DNA repair and recombination. Our research interests range from the fundamental basic molecular mechanisms of DNA repair, recombination and replication in model organisms and human to diverse clinical applications including cancer therapeutics. To decipher the mechanisms of DNA repair we develop and employ genetic, molecular, functional genomics, and next generation sequencing assays. We also maintain close collaborations with biochemists and cancer biologists to complement our genetic approaches.



Qualifications/Preferred Skillsets:

We encourage applicants with relevant experience in microbiology, genetics, cell biology, molecular biology or relevant fields to join our team.
