Description:

The focus of our lab is to investigate the mechanisms that regulate T cell destabilization and infiltration in cancer. We want to understand how antigen-presenting cells control Treg reprogramming and accumulation within the tumor microenvironment. Our final goal is to develop new strategies for patients that do not respond to current cancer immunotherapies.


Responsibilities:

By combining genetic mouse models and analyses of human cancer samples, the successful candidate is expected to identify which key signals are necessary for intratumoral Treg instability and expansion in order to finally provide new individualized immunotherapy approaches to patients.


Qualifications/Preferred Skillsets:

-Ph.D. in life or physical sciences (examples: immunology, biology, physics)

-Record of successful first author publications

-Expertise in flow cytometry

-Experience in mouse models, molecular cloning and microscopy
