The Burré lab at Weill Medical College of Cornell University in New York City is looking for talented and motivated postdocs to study molecular mechanisms underlying neurological and neurodegenerative diseases, with a focus on the neuronal synapse. In the long-term, our research aims at utilizing this knowledge to develop rational therapeutic strategies, to combat Parkinson’s disease, STXBP1 and SNARE protein-linked encephalopathies. Qualifications/Preferred Skillsets:

Candidates should have a PhD, MD, or equivalent degree. Researchers with a background in cell biology, biochemistry and/or molecular biology, and experience with mice are especially encouraged to apply.
