Description:

The Ma lab for Immune Engineering is a highly interdisciplinary lab located at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and the University of Pennsylvania. We employ a combination of genetic, chemistry, engineering and computational tools to decode the molecular and cellular crosstalk between immune cells and their microenvironment, and leverage these crosstalk mechanisms to engineer novel biomaterials, protein, and cell-based precision immunotherapies.
We are looking for a research technician to work alongside scientists performing cutting-edge immune engineering research. The ideal candidate will have laboratory experience and knowledge of bioengineering and chemistry. Comfort with handling animals and necropsy is required. The technician will be trained in bioconjugation, vaccination and protein purification. Prior experience in any of these specialties is a plus. Other duties may include lab ordering, package processing and documentation.
