Our lab aims to understand the relationship between structure and function in ion channels. The ideal candidate for this position is an individual with expertise in membrane-protein structural biology (cryo-EM) who is interested in elucidating mechanisms of eukaryotic ion-channel behavior through the combination of atomic models, molecular simulations, and functional data.Responsibilities:
The candidate will be responsible for all aspects of structure determination—from membrane-protein purification to atomic-model building—using single-particle cryo-EM data.
